Would you rather have an enhanced imagination? Details – You see, feel and hear (meaning enhanced ability to give the characters their own distinct voice in your head) everything how it’s described in the book. (Aside from the spicy scenes, then you can only hear, see and smell. Sense of touch is turned off.) Bonus – enhanced ability to tune out your surroundings, perfect for noisy places.

Or – be teleported into the book (as any choses character) for one chapter. Details – You have little free will and your own choices are limited, as you literally do and say everything the chosen charter does and says. But It would be like you where that character and feel everything (yes, everything 😉) the character does. FOR ONE CHAPTER – you can use this ability only once a day (cooldown) – No stacking, once the day is over so is the option to use the ability of that day. Time does not pass when you are using this ability.

As a reader (and writer, as a hobby) I already have a great imagination and since I have ADHD I tune out my surroundings easily, so I chose the second option.

Spicy scenes are about to get a whole lot more interesting. 😉😁

    What would you choose?

This is a though one. Being able to just not notice everyone else is great. I can kinda do it already but its really inconsistent and reliant on my sorrundings to be pretty chill anyways. The problem is, however, that i have to feel their pain as well (I prefer to not know the pain of being tortured for example, though it could be kinda interesting to know how stuff feels).

The other one is way cooler though, the big problem is, however, that the cooldown is so long. It would be amazing, for like 30 minutes (unless you chose a chapter with a big timeskip, then you get a lot of time) and then depressing to go back to reality and just be me again. (Spicy scenes are a big plus as well).

Overall i think id say the travel into book thing, nice to have if i want to wind down or just dont feel like being me.

Imagine being like Liam there, in the corner, cheering for her to get thru.

Yay for ADHD brain. I hope you are learning how to turn it into a superpower (which it can be btw).

ARGH, tune out surroundings for noisy places would be amazing. I cannot stand high pitch noises (like cutlery etc)

so I kinda want to go with that. At the same time, being able to live a whole chapter…man that sounds so good.

Damn, ok, I will go with option 1.

I’d go with option number 2 and be in the book as a character. I have a good memory, and memories are closely linked to our emotions and senses, I found it difficult rereading the series the second time through because I remembered almost everything about the book and I would randomly cry at scenes where Liam was kind, respectful, honourable – that I wouldn’t have the first time through as I didn’t know what was going to happen to him. I feel that option number 2 in the way you described it having very little control because you are the character? I think this would help to focus on the chapter/situation at hand without being distracted by emotions for chapters to come.

Also if you can feel what the characters are feeling? I think it would be interesting to relive some chapters multiple times from different characters POV. 🤗
