Does Dain deserve forgiveness?

We know that in the end Dain joins the revolution, either as an attempt at redemption for Violet to trust him again or because he actually has a functioning moral compass (Who could have known?)

After all that he has done, do you think he should (or will) ever be forgiven?

    The simple answer is: Yes.

He’s a young man. He did what he thought was best. He trusted his dad and wanted Violet to be safe. He believed that Xaden wanted to hurt Violet and gets revenge. He made mistakes, he tried to understand and learn from them. He was always team Violet as much as he went about it the wrong way.

If we believe the theory about the Gods, then even more so, Dain Aetos is the human companion to no other than Zeus. So we are to believe that Dain is not a bad guy. Just a misguided one that needs a hug. Although, I’m madly in love with Liam so I still want to punch Dain in the face for his mistake

Yes, I agree. In the beginning he was a bit of a control freak. (Like Tamlin was in the beginning of Mist and Fury) but I think he will come around in the next book. Their friendship will definitely never be the same, but I do think they can make up and be friends again.

NO. Never. He took Liam away. I will never ever ever ever forgive him.

Ok, sure I appreciate that he saved Violet from Varrish but gosh I want to punch him HARD.

A bit harsh haha I love it how ruthless you are. Because yeah, Liam first, Dain second always. Personally, I’d give him a quick hug. Super quick tho
