Conscription Day

Hi guys, got another question for you.

Imagine, when you open the book Fourth Wing (Or Iron Flame) and suddenly get sucked into a wormhole and find yourself in Navarre at BWC on Conscription Day. (I know all of you readers wished you had the power to literally get sucked into a book, as I really, really wish that I could too. Alas, we have to do with our imagination.)

What Quadrant would you choose? (Think about it)

A bit of info for those who might need it:

Healers – You wear pale blue. every weekend you go on a mind-body health retreat.

Scribes – You wear white as to blend into the archives, to be literally invisible as a reminder that nothing is more important than the books. Books are your life. (Hmm, why does that sound familiar?)

Riders – You wear black – No need for extra info on this one.

Infantry – You wear navy-blue. Lots of outdoor survival training and in your second year you get to work with the other quadrants.

What would I choose – Healers. Why? It’s as close to the dragons as you can get without the side of certain death. Also you get to take care of the (good looking) riders. And every week you get a spa-weekend? Sign me up!

Is it because of the spa weekend? 😛

Haha a bit yes. Mostly that that i would be close to the dragon riders.

I want to say I’m brave enough to be a rider, but let’s face it, I’d be a scribe…

I want to say rider, a lot cooler and also dragon. The problem there is the fact that i have to get over the drop (i read the books in Swedish, i dont know the word for the big balance-thing of death). (I say this at the risk of sounding like an idiot) Depending on length and with id say i have a decent, if you think about it, Violet did it after having trained för 6 months, ive trained all my life (15 years) (she is a main character though so i maj be screwed).

I feel like i have a decent shot at the phisycal stuff inside as well. I guess i have a bit of a problem on the fighting bit (due to not training my upper body in basically forever).

I feel i have about the same shot in the infantry (without the certain sideaspect of being able to die during a normal lesson). I also feel like i have an advantage in the navigation parts because i do a sport were youre litteraly ment to run a course in the woods with a map and a compass in så little time as possible.

Otherwise id say scribe, does that need an explanation? (Would be kinda boring as most of their books are things like history and facts, history could be interesting though).

Healer sound fine i guess but i dont understand the human body, nu version of healing is ignoring it, maybe a band aid if its serious. Spa weekend sounds nice though.

So if i ranked them id say:

    1) Rider

    2) Infantry

    3) Scribe

    4) Healer

You are far too brave. I would literally cry the moment you make me go up those 250 stairs before Parapet. Then I will fall willingly because I can’t even ride a bike, this is how terrible my balance is.

I always wanted to be a doctor so I think I’ll go with healer.
